which came first: the chicken or the egg? god or man? god eats man, man eats god: this is the loop. this will always be the loop.vikram is a bootstrap paradox made cosmic horror, as much of an archon of the godhand forged by kronos as he is an olympian forged by the council of twelve, though vikram couldn't tell you which came first because he doesn't remember. maybe both. maybe neither.
he is the first of the godhand to successfully create, populate, and sustain a "stable" pocket parabola, an alternate cosmic dimension. his dimension: earth, circa 2024.
this cycle will repeat until morale improves.
TISSUE REFUSES TO DIE
as an agent of the council of twelve, apollo's manifested gift was TEMPORAL MANIPULATION, which led to his loop. as vikram and an archon of the godhand, his abilities also include:
- IMMORTALITY
- he can die but also he can't die, u feel.
- PLANESKIPPING
- vikram can sense out the tears in space left behind by kronos and use these tears (known as vertices) to pass from dimension to dimension or place to place, like from an upstairs bathroom to your bottom floor couch. he can also create his own tears.
- relatedly: he can "summon" items from other dimensions into his current dimension of choice, but he needs to have a) seen it and b) know the exact location of the item he's attempting to summon.
- REALITY WARPING
- capability to alter the fabric of reality within his parabolas, creating illusions, altering physical laws, reversing or speeding up entropy, and manipulating time and space.
- CREATION
- the creation of biological life is (currently) limited to his parabolas, and even then he's not very good at it. there's always something a little off or wrong about the humans who occupy his little world(s): eyes where there shouldn't be eyes, no mouths where there should be a mouth, et cetera. very uncanny valley.
- but if you need him to whip you up a new house, he's sort of good at that. sometimes. just ignore the stairs that lead to nowhere.
